You’ve found the exercise option that you like – Pilates. Your body enjoys the movement, you feel great after each session – but something is holding you back. There’s a niggle in your shoulder that stops you doing side planks on the foot bar. There’s a twinge in your back that stops you rolling right up. With legs in straps you can’t get a full circle because of that niggling hip pain… Sound familiar?

We will rarely advise you to stop the classes – it’s important to keep your routine (and your spot!) We will figure out why you are getting pain or restriction and can advise on adapting exercises to suit while treating the problem and regaining full pain-free movement and power.
